TG'ers in the Fredericksburg/Stafford VA area?
« on: August 07, 2007, 04:36:00 PM »
I will be in the area for a business trip next week and would love to meet up with some TG'ers for dinner or something.  I won't have my bow but it would still be nice to meet some fellow TG'ers.

Send me a PM.

What days will you be in the area?

Yes, that would be useful info.

We could meet at Gander Mountain.  I have extra bows. We could fling a few arrows then get some eats.

Make sure you visit Carl's Ice Cream. Perhaps a stop at Allman's BBQ as well if you have time.

Just don't miss Carl's.

MarthaK, a newbie to tradgang, a friend of mine I introduced to traditional archery lives in Fredericksburg really close to the Gander Mountain. I e-mail her a link to this. If she shows up y'all better treat her like the lady she is. Remember I'm a former Marine Sniper.  :bigsmyl:

Oh Curtiss, these guys couldn't be any rougher than the knife guys I know.

I would love to join you all. I even have a 35#er you can borrow. hehehe

Seriously, I hope a good number of locals can make it. The only archery club I've run into locally is compound.

Awfully rude of you to leave before the weekend. I belong to a neat club an hour and a half north, and have the weekend off. Martha, would you be so kind as to punchbuggy his Arctic Arm really good for me? Thanks.

Dang Killdeer, I wasn't meanin' to be rude.  :(   But my darlin' wife said I had to come home. I'm sure that I will be back in that area again and will make sure to schedule the trip around your timeoff and club shoots.    :notworthy:

Every Thursday evening from 6:30 to close, we have a traditional gathering at the Gander Mt. Here.  I would love to see more tradgangers show up to have some fun and shoot.  It's free, and fun.......homemade bows, arrows, crossbows (for some of the SCA renactors).....so come on by

I will be chairing the weekly meeting of the Chagrined Again Hunting Club. I will move that we drink a beer to you and the future of traditional archery. That's two beers...any more suggestions?
