Recurve or longbow?
« on: August 16, 2012, 04:12:00 PM »
Who's using what this fall? This isn't a versus or which is better just wanna see who prefers what for hunting. I'm using my 62" TallTines recurve 53@28 with some Easton 2219's and 125 grain woodsman broadheads up front. Whats your set up?

I'll be using my Wild Horse Creek Kestrel R/D LB.  ....or maybe my WHC Mariah recurve.... the Kanati....the Kodiak Hunter....

Great! You've succeeded in giving me a complex.

Either way I'm trying to sell some c******d bows and go strictly stickbow. (Sold one and I only have 4 more to sell   :knothead:   )

Come on folks, I need all the support I can get   :help:   . HAHA

I'll be hunting primarily with my longbow (see below), with full-length 2117s with 175-grains of Wensel Woodsmans.

I also plan to hunt a bit with my 69# recurve limbs with full-length 2419s and 200-grains of 3-blade Magnus up front.
Life is a whole lot easier when you just plow around the stump.

Sold two bows and narrowed it down to only two. Then my recurve blew up on me.

Down to only one bow. Thinking I might keep it that way though.
