Bout to cry.....

Riser has split on my Hunter. I thought it was just a small line but was in the swamp for about 6 hrs and it got worse. Dental floss is in to deep I must say. Glad I got a bloodthirsty Mohawk handy..RC

Looks fixable to me.
Good luck on repairs. But be safe above all else. We need you to have a bow in hand so we can live through your posts and pics

Ouch! Try to get it fixed, that's a good looking bow. Check the sponsers here. If it's beyond repair, look at the bright side... you have an darn good excuse to shop for another!

Be careful with the dental floss in there because if you are thinking about fixing it. you don't want the wax to not let the glue adhere to the wood surface.

I'm sorry to see something like this happen but I am so grateful that it didn't get a chance to cause you any physical pain that I am actually celebrating it for you.
God bless,Mudd

To be honest I hunt hard and I am quiet ruff on a bow. I woukld not have confidence in a fixed bow. I`ll hang it on the rack and hunt with a Meat gathering Mohawk longbow. With a smile too I might add.RC

Man, I am sorry to hear about your Howatt Hunter Robert. That really sucks. At least the mohawk has served you well in the past, though. Hogs were probably starting to think that they were safe.

I'm glad to see you caught this early, RC. A longitudinal crack such as this shouldn't be too much of a problem to remedy. I'd run some super thin ca glue in there and clamp it up. Might want to check with your bowyer first though, regarding warranties, etc.

RC, not lost. Flex it abit to open up the crack a little, wick some Loc Tite CA in there and let it relax. It'll be good as new
