I have several widows and both the recurve and longbow silvertip t/d's. The grips are similar and the cast is very close. I can use the same arrows on all. I would be hard pressed to pick one over the other. Both are great bows.

I have owned alot of different bows I even bought 11 of them in one year. I just kept looking for the perfect bow. I have owned 9 different widows and nothing against them they just arent for me. I then traded for a 60' silvertip cause I always wanted to try one, i can honestly say I do not see me owning another make of recurve. I currenty have a 60' in the classifieds for sale but if it doesnt sell thats ok. I prefer the 62" and have one and another on order that sould come around in a couple months. These bows just fit my hand perfectly, are smooth and have excellent cast, to me the best all round hunting bow I personally have tried. Don

I just shot mine at the Muzzy Shoot here in New York. I was thinking that maybe I would let it go cause I wasn't "feeling the love" ,after that shoot it's not going anywhere! I have had 3 Black Widows and would get another if the specs were right. I wanted a Silvertip for a long time,I'm glad I finally got one!

Just traded for one a few weeks ago. Great shooting bow, but the grip doesn't really fit me. I normally build my own bows, if this one had the right grip for me I doubt I'd build another one.

I honestly have never owned a better performing recurve.  62" 58# at 30", 605 grain heritage 350 @ 190 ft/second.  Great mass weight, classic design, don't think it gets any better.

I've had several over the past 25 years and have loved every one.  Most of mine have been 60".  I had one 62" bow that I truly miss.  See the post above.....my buddy Mark talked me out of it in a weak moment and it now lives in Colorado!

Awesome bows! I haven't shot all that many bows but I own a 60" Tip and don't see getting another bow till I can't pull this one back anymore.

Tim- I'll send you a pic of Mark and the bow this weekend to help you cope! That is one SWEEEEET bow for sure buddy!

Nice bow, I have a 62" TD.  It's not my favorite bow, but I haven't sold it either.

My father has a cherished silvertip.  He has flirted with other bows but just sold them to get a lighter set of limbs.  Getting old stinks.

Yep, have owned both and they are very similar as some have said. I would prefer the Tip though as it was quieter.

Just because you "kiss" a bow after "most" shooting sessions does not mean you love it.
