New member intro
« on: August 19, 2012, 09:28:00 AM »
Howdy!  Just stopping by to say hello and to introduce myself.  I'm brand new to the sport.  I'm so new, I don't even have a bow yet

I got sick and tired of waiting and paying big bucks to shoot at the gun range, so I figured I ought to take up something I can shoot in the back yard   :)

I imagine I'll be reading more posts than writing, so if you see me on your thread, I'm just there trying to educate my self.

Besides the forementioned other activity I do, I also enjoy fiddling with knives and riding motorcycles.

Thanks for letting me hang out!

Welcome aboard. Been shooting Trad bows for 30 years and still learned alot from the nice folks here.
Having done so much, with so little, for so long, I can now do anything with nothing.

This is indeed a great place to learn. Folks with a lot of knowledge they are willing to share.  Enjoy.

Mr. H, welcome to Tradgang.  Minnesota has one of the nicest bunch of Guys at Coon Rapids Archery Club.  A solid bunch of traditional shooters.

As far as bowyers, we are fortunate to have a good one up near Brainerd, chad holm, from Holm Made bows.

Shout out if you have any questions, welcome to the sport...
