Mike At Maddog Archery Contiunes To Improve Birthdays
« on: August 21, 2012, 02:55:00 AM »
For several years I have heard and read rave reviews about Maddog Traditional Archery's custom youth longbows and recurves. So when the time for an excellent quality youth bow I knew exactly who I wanted to call, Mike Mecredy, founder and owner of Maddog Traditional Archery ( www.maddogarchery.com ). Mike's easy going personality made for an enjoyable conversation and easy ording process as we went through the various custom options. As if the excellent customer service and truly custom options weren't enough, the price was even more amazing. This truly custom treasure only cost about $115 with shipping! I selected a 48" Pup Longbow 22# @ 24". I think this will be the perfect length and draw weight to grow with my little shooters for years to come. Even though this is a youth bow, don't think is just a toy because it is truly a well crafted custom longbow that is excellent to shoot.

When Drake's birthday arrived, He was excited about the long box that was as tall as he was.

He still wasn't sure what was hidden in the long green sock.

With the green sock removed he new exactly what he was holding.

We didn't waste anytime in putting it to work.

This was the first of many shots to come. The quality of the bow is fantastic and I can't imagine a better bow to get a young shooter started off right.

Mike was great from start to finish and has earned one more strong supporter and appreciative owner. Thanks for making it an even happier birthday.

Excellent!  Looks like you'll be needing a pink one soon!

Mike makes great bows for a very reasonable price.  I just told another friend about Maddog bows and he should be contacting Mike shortly.

I brag on my daughter's new pink Maddog pup longbow to everyone that will listen!  They are great little bows, and Mike is a great guy.

I have have so much stinking pink around the house with my two girls I can hardly stand the thought of bringing in more, but I'll probably concede to fuel the fire in my girls.  Pink just spreads like cancer    :banghead:

Children have a way of migrating too their own interests over time, but I would love it if archery is something that sticks and that we can share for years to come.  I am glad such good equipment is available to help that happen.
