The Rogue's are breeding.

Or Half-breeding to be more exact. I recently sent my late 70's or early 80's Howard Hill Rogue to Craig to have it refinished and finally pulled the trigger on something that I have been considering for awhile. I ordered another bow with similar materials to the Rogue since I like that bow so much. It is a Howard Hill halfbreed that has 2 inner lams of bamboo and 2 outer lams of yew. The yew in my Rogue has darkened quite abit compared to the new one, but I love both of them. I got this one with antler tips instead of ivory and got tambote again for the riser, and the grip is a cross between a locator and dished. This one has a little more figuring that really looks good with the lighter colored yew lams. Also, I was thinking ahead when I ordered this bow, and got it in a lighter weight for as I get older. This one is 52# @ 28", and the Rogue is 95# @ 29". On top of that, I got it as a dual shelf bow, so that anyone that is a righty that drops by can shoot it. I had him give me the largest shelf possible since I shoot with less cant than most. It is 68" long and very easy and smooth to pull, even with my right arm. Here are some pics. Craig does fine work, and quickly.

Wow that didn't take long to get that bow Pat. I'll have to try out the right handed shelf for you and make sure its not defective.
