My New John D. Lee longbow (Hill style)

Hey Guys, I'm back, Been a super busy summer, Working and more working, But I'm back for now, Anyways about 5 week's ago my friend, John D. Lee sent me a new bow, This one is all bamboo backed with green glass, n faced with old skool yellow, It's around 75@28, Hard hitting bow, This has a nice deep handle and was copyed from one of Howard's hunting bows.. I'll post more pics asap.. And video...

Ben you should see, The early 1950's Hill bow I picked up, a few guys told me it was one of Howard's bows... I'm unsure if it was or not..

Right on Cody keep your sense of humor... Thats a really cool longbow John dont make bows for just anybody your a lucky young man and John is as good as they come. We are really lucky to have him sharing his knowledge and facts about Howard Hill and his techniques. John Lee one of the really good guys. Men like John and Ron LaClair we are blessed to have them... Ron.

Here's a great photo of Ron and myself, I forget which shoot it was at, All I know it was a mini shooting contest, Around 20 + people joined in the fun, But at the end of the last round, Ron beat me by just a few points. Ron's shooting a Bow John made him, I was shooting a old Redman Hill, 55@28.. This is the pic of Ron and I looking at each other waiting to hear who took First place.. Not bad shooting for a young guy.. Also one of the best photo's of Me and Mr.Longbow himself.. I have to say thanks to Ron for all the help over the years, And helping make me what I am today.. Ron has been the best teacher I could ever ask for....
