Charlie Lamb, this one's for you
« on: August 27, 2012, 12:25:00 PM »
Charlie is missing Wyoming (who can blame him), so when I was fortunate enough to be hunting antelope this morning, and overlooking some nice real estate, I thought that Charlie might enjoy this picture that is so typical of much of Wyoming. Here you go, Buddy!

beauty of a pic.  It looks so different from the dense undergrowth and canopy of south western wisconsin.  It looks awesome.

Wyoming has to be one of the most beautiful states!  I love the Bighorn mountains.  That's one nice picture too!  Good luck with your antelope hunting!

While sitting at that spot, I watched 3 coyotes doing some hunting on their own, and I started a stalk on an antelope that got screwed up when a guy on a mule topped a hill, spooking the goat. I talked to him for a few minutes, and he couldn't believe that some idiot was out trying to sneak within longbow range of an antelope. He could be on to something.
