Alas, I will have to shoot my old TallTines longbow on the goose hunt.  I am going to go real old school...swaged 2018 green Gamegetters       Might have to break out a few Abowyer Whitetails to go along with the big Snuffers!

Steve O you are right about George and his bird hunting ventures. But I shot with George at Lenawee with Eric Coudron and Gary Cupp Jr. I enjoyed every moment because watching those guys shoot the bow instinctively was a treat. I figure George would be humble and not gloat but he can flat out shoot. I am here to tell you the boy can really get it done.George,Ed Long says Howdee Doo and hopefully you get over the knee thing!! ED

Your knee is doing fine George.  Just put more weight on the other side.  We can always use a game cart to get you out there.

That bow is flat out georgious.  Much better looking than the pictures I had of it.

I like the looks of that grip. Afte Rod's class this past weekend, i see the advantage of having more surface on the lefthand side to push/cradle against

I can tell you it sure isn't me!!!!
Hey Buddy when are you going to be in the States? I love to have you here couple days and show you our shop...maybe we can do a hunt together.

I owe you a hunt after all the hospitality you showed me, and i even got a bear!!! I know Roger thought he was small, but hey i shot him in the heart meant a smaller target... also learned it was a new breed of bear that deflates. LOL!

I'm going to order a couple more sets of limbs for this beautiful Bacote riser, what woods would you guys reccommend that would go with my riser?
Thanks

You are a pretty smart guy George...I would tell Brian to pick something that looks good!

That handle is so classy I might just go with plain old black glass limbs.

Bacote ofcourse.Though as Steve mentioned black glass would look nice with that dark riser and the black accent stripes and would not cost as much

George you could go with some really light colored myrtle, to show some contrast.  But asking Brian is a safe bet because he has an eye for making a bow look great.
