Making my first river cane arrows. Wondered what you all used to seal them? Thanks!

I don't use anything on my primitive river cane arrows. I was told the oils from the cane itself sealed them.

Like James I don't sean primitive cane shafts. If I have sanded them I use Tru-Oil or homemade pitch varnish. Any good arrow finish will work.

Same here, I don't seal my cane shafts. I think you will be surprised how good cane flies, I know I was.
God Bless
