First seen this guy Thought it was a coyote in a tree.

On another stand got all comfy. looked up and about seventy yards out in front of me there was one giving me the stare down. Took off into the next orchard and started the yap yap stuff. Then to my lerft his buddy joined him in calling me awfull names.

Dude you are a legend!
I know nothing about coyotes but from what I read they are hellishly hard to get a shot on with a bow... And you do it... Regularly!

Nice shot placement too  ;)

Congrats Thumper on taking a nice Yote. Man you sure know how to get after them Yotes, and from what I have read about them, they are not that easy to take with a bow, but you make it seem easy. Man if California wasn't so far away, I'd hit you up on coming for a Yote hunt(LOL). They are certainly on my hit list. While I have taken both red and gray foxes here in Maryland, I have yet to draw a string on a Yote. Thanks for sharing your Yote adventures.

It isn`t JUST the calling skills!

Calling them in is ONE thing...hitting them is ANOTHER!

I have called them to the bow several times, but when my arrow gets there, only the heat signature where they were standing is left. Their reaction time gives them plenty of space for a miss.

This is AMAZING stuff people!!!

Thanks for sharing!!!      :campfire:
