Big Racks with few points
« on: August 29, 2012, 07:32:00 PM »
Everyone loves the BIG racks of monster bucks, but I want to see the lesser monsters. So, show me your BIG racks of deer with FEW points. Big spikes, forks or 6's. No 7 pts or larger. Either before or after the shot is fine, trail cam or other.

What a great Buck!!!

I remember a deer like that from My past. No one ever killed him that I know of. He was a monster 6 point with long tines and heavy bases and a huge body.

It was because of that deer that I wanted to become a deer hunter. LOL

Here's a 3 yr old 6 point from a couple of years ago.  The guys on the lease across the road from me got him.  17 1/4 inch spread.

This one is a 5 point from last year.  Not a monster rack, but a big deer.  We're guessing around 6-7 yrs old.  He was a 7 point the two preious years.  I think the drought last summer hurt him.  Very smart and almost completely nocturnal.

had to pass an absolute monster 6 last year, cause the area that I was hunting in has to have 4 on a side. He made it through the season last year but is now 4 years old and ghost like!!!!!!

My wife shot a 26" wide Mulie forked horn with brow tines about three years ago.  It was with a firearm but it was a monster in body size and had a big old roman nose and lots of grey hair.  I'm guessing he was 5.5 to 6.5yrs old.

Widow,

That is the largest and heaviest 6-pt I've ever seen.       Congrats on taking him.

My father took a 21 inch spread 230 lb 5 point with a rifle about 10 years ago.  It was missing brow tines. Also taken with a rifle,

WE had a large 6 point around my property several years ago. I found 1 side of his shed and my FIL found the same side the next year.  My Nephew killed this brute the following year and he scored 124 5/8" as a 6.  Wish I had a pic to share.
