Jamie, Good luck with the hickory selfbow. Hickory makes a fine shooting bow.Just remember,it will be about 5# or so heavier in draw weight comes winter time.

Thanks Linc, although with a baby on the way in early October, I dont know when I will be attacking that stave. Heck I dont even know if I will make it out opening day...
But look at all the cool stuff I will be able to teach the boy when he is old enough.

Great for your first one. I also got started with a kit and now am totaly hooked.
