Hey Delaware Trad Gang Members
« on: August 30, 2012, 01:29:00 PM »
Hello,

We are seriously thinking of relocating from where we live as unhappy subjects of the Communist State of New Jersey to Sussex County Delaware. We will be traveling down there this weekend to look at the area and some homes.

My question: Is there any place to hunt there? Is there public lands? Is getting permission to hunt private land very difficult?

Is there anything other than deer to hunt there?

Any info will be helpful.

Thank you.

Larry,

Here's a link to all public areas in Delaware.
 http://www.dnrec.delaware.gov/fw/Hunting/Pages/HuntingMaps.aspx

It includes areas managed by the Division of Fish & Wildlife, the Division of Parks & Recreation, the Delaware Forestry Service, and the USFWS.

Good for you.  It's pretty nice here.  I work for a local water utility and my wife works in realestate.  Drop me an email and I might be able to cut down on your search.
