I don't post much but just wanted to say how much I enjoy this site. I belong to a couple of others and all they do is argue and sling mud. You can't learn anything for the crap. I know it's not allowed here and I have been called a couple of time but do appreciate what goes on here.

Yep, I used to frequent other sites until I found this one. Now, I only show up here.  I mainly read from the sidelines. But guys/gals here seem like brothers/sisters.

Nice to have a refuge, where it is OK to relax.
You can fart here and all you will get is good natured ribbing from the smoky side of the fire.

Unlike the other site, this one has no self proclaimed experts who make you feel stupid for asking a question.

Threads stay on track and are focused on the subject matter. There are different catagories for various topics. It is so easy to find what you are looking for.

Overall, I find Trad Gang to be a nice place to visit, learn, and be entertained. It's a great place to spend an evening while my wife is watching Lifetime channel.

That is why this is my favorite site.

Always respectful and if not the mods nip that in the bud right away.

I have seen some good things on other sites, but more than once I have offered to get in my car to meet someone face to face and see if they have the same things to say to me in person. At 58 I still like to roll around in the dirt for a little while. I just don't have the same aptitude, but I still have the attitude.

I have never had that experience here and never saw any types of posts here that would make anyone else feel they have to do it. I rarely ever go to other sites.

I learned a ton here also and enjoy every minute of it.

Absolutely agree!  I have three other forums (two hunting, one motorcycle) that I open and read posts a couple times a week.  Two of the forums have minimal rules about content...this is the ONLY one I belong to where people respect one another....and that is greatly appreciated.  Thank you moderators!

Hey Gil,I can drive down and we'll go bare knuckles for a couple of the bows you've posted pictures of here.  :knothead:  Actually let's wait a few more years, the less aptitude on your part the better.  :D

I think my wife would enjoy that. Anything to get rid of some of my bows! Ha!

But then I have to listen to her whine about how immature I still am for about two years.

She has been with me for 39 years and there have been more than a few times I still have to listen to. It seems she can't remember anything I ask her to do, but she never forgets some of my indiscretions!
