To give a good answer it would help if you let us know what your draw length is, what head weight you want to use, and how far off centre your bow is cut.
I shoot a 60lb recurve cut 3/16 from centre, draw to 28", and i shoot 30.5" Easton power flights with 100grain inserts and 200grain points. Works out as about 9lb under spined but bare shafts well and flys good for me. Hope that helps  :)

Sorry, Im drawing 28" and am using 150 gain point and a 75 or 100 grain brass insert. Not sure on what the bow is cut to but is a Blackwidow.

Oops I knew I meant to put that in 340 spine. Actually worked them up to shoot with 125 grain heads, and they do very well, but have been offered a hunt where I need a little more weight and found they handle the 200 grain up front really well too!

Mountain Lion just input your figures into Stu Millers Calculator.

You could run with a CE Heritage (Guessing thats the same as cx?) 350 cut to 29" with a 100grain insert, or you could use the same arrow with 75 grain insert cut to 30".

It would pay to download Stu Millers calculator and play around with the figures. I had to guess a few things (centre cut, string strand count, and bow model)

 http://www.heilakka.com/stumiller/

Gives you a pretty good start point at least.

Start with a longer arrow and gradually cut it down till you have something that fly's good for you.

I am far from an expert on tuning but the calculator at least lets you know you are in the ball park.

Good luck  :)
