Congratulations, job well done and some fine eating.
Hunting was hazardous, but at least it guaranteed the freedom of the individual.

There is no doubt that the onset of farming saw the end of leasure for the majority of people, who were destined to toil in the fields.

So what if you punched your tag early in the game.... like you said.... three more weeks in camp to soak it all in and truly enjoy the whole experience. I bet fresh elk backstraps over an open fire never tasted so good.   :campfire:

Thanks fellas. I dunno how many more years I'll be able to do this. I need to lose some weight, that cheeseburger sounds good Mike    :D  . This year made my 48th in succession to come to the mountains. Sure enjoyed every one!
