Moose hunt?

How much is a good guided moose hunt? Its something I would like to start saving up for.

Really depends on what species you want to hunt. The further north you go the more expensive it gets. 4 to 5k up to 15-20k, just depends on where you want to go and how much you're willing to pay.

Unguided is doable on a much lower budget.

I am going to Newfoundland in 2013.The outfitter fee is $5750 and includes tag -room and board and guide with 6 days of hunting.Newfoundland has the highest density per mile than anywhere there is I am told.

alaska...I'd average aroudn 12 to 15k.

a lot will depend on the style of hunt, where at in the state it is, how much it costs the guides to do it....

Than you'll have tags....airfare to and from where ever it is you'll be flying out from...getting meat/antlers home....taxidermy costs.

adds up quick!

This would be for a guided only style....and only be an average guess I'd save up 15k to 20k.
