Dale Sanford Winterwind Recurve
« on: August 09, 2007, 08:03:00 PM »
Folks I'm starting this thread for my Bud Recurve50#s [Larry]. We're just curious if anyone owns one and can tell us the braceheight of this baby. When I saw and shot this recurve I was really impressed with the workmanship and how quiet it was.We understand the bowyer is out of business. What a shame. Thanks for your help folks.

Oh I forgot she's 62"s and 46#s @ 28"s. I told him at 26"s she's only around 40#s.We do have it set at 7 1/2"s which seems OK.

bentpole,
You should be pretty close between 7 1/2 and 73/4. No question about it Dale did make a very fine old school recurve. If you know of someone who is looking for a 62inch, rh, 55@28 I know where one is. Bow is like brand new and poundage is too much for the guy. He wants to move it for $425.00. tom

Thank you Bentpole(Tom) for posting this to help me out. You are a good friend. Thanks Tukudu for your helpful information too. Right now I have the brace height set at 7 1/2" and it's wisper quiet.
