i talked to detective tompkins yesterday--- he asked that EVERYBODY that was cheated send him emails, pm's and anything else that he can use to build our case. Email all of your things to the email at the top of this thread...... we may not get our stuff or money back, but at least some justice might get served.

I copied and pasted all my conversations with the guy from Email and IM's onto a word document and attached it to an email to the detective.  Let's see what happens.  It would be nice to see a cruiser or two roll up on his home and "inquire" about all the complaints. At least that would get him thinking about his actions!!

The scary thing is that this guy sets up security protection programs on peoples computers,I wonder how much personal info and financial stuff he could have looted and used from unknowing people. What a maggot.

difference in the world, but the Marines don’t have that problem.

That was my first thought, too. I don't think many people realize how easy it is for someone to get very important information off of their computer.

This is exactly the kind of thing that guys like Scott Garrett need to see!  It won't stop them from ripping off people other places, but I feel safer dealing here because of the follow through of my fellow Trad Gangers.
That's why they call it hunting....

I’m sure some of you remember this regrettable debacle. Well, today I received a notice from my bank stating that they had recently issued a ‘STOP PAYMENT ORDER’ on the money order I initially sent to Mr. Scott Garret.  Apparently, he had not cashed the money order and the time allowed to do so had expired… the funds were re-deposited in my account. I was curious if anyone else has experienced a similar situation.

Question. If he has scammed people in multiple states, does that make it a Federal crime due to interstate commerce being involved? Either way, if he has done these things, I hope they nail his ass to the wall.

GHAWK......glad to hear that at least one of the many of us he scammed got their $$$ back!! (if only due to his laziness)  I really hope the other sites have taken the advice of those from here and taken steps to keep this guy from ripping off their members.
