Jason just sent out his first all phenolic riser Kanati this week.  Hopefully the owner is a member here and gives us a peak.

He was holding the riser to do a bow bolt version, but he let it go before the two piece came to fruition.

Just ordered my first Kanati today.  As I'm not a fan of Dymondwood (particularly when quarter sawn)I was able to do some research with Rosewood Archery and came up with a ziricote/phenolic combo that should be really stealthy with black glass and get this a black medallion    :readit:

Jason is offering some longer bows from extended forms.  Mine will be 62 inches of traditional bliss...

Now the wait...

If there was one bow I owned and traded off that I want back, it's a Kanati.

Man I miss that bow.  Rarer than hen's teeth in the classifieds - that alone should tell you something.

Someone on here's got a "mountain camo" version with quarter sawn limbs in the green/brown/black camo that's just AWESOME - if and when that bow ever hits the classifieds, well, everyone better be ready.   :D

I don't think Jason's doing bows with clear glass anymore - I can understand why, but what a shame - he had some absolutely beautiful bows with the amber bamboo (mine was like that) and the quarter sawn lams.

Oliverstacy ...

That cocabola(?) bow very well might be the sharpest looking kanati I've seen...NICE!

John,

Look at the site window.  It's the rosewood colored dymondwood I believe.  Sharp is an understatement!  I know dymondwood has some superior qualities in mass and strength, but to me it's like crab with a "K" krab...

Wood is good!

Thanks Keith.
I could tell it was a laminated wood.
Just trying to describe which one.
You may very well be right about it being rosewood colored.

Just sent Jason the down payment on one. Walnut riser, 61lbs, and as of right now 58" long. Wondering if I'd like the 56 incher though. What string do yall like on your Kanatis?
