Grey fox.   Looks just like the one I've had living down the back side of my property for the past 2 years!

I cleaned up the pic some for you. it is definitely feline. it seems to have a long tail for sure, but I think Mt. Lions tails are about the length of their bodies, this does not appear that long. Although,  Fox could be a contender, just the tail looked too thin for fox. maybe the new pic will help

Oh, and overall body size seemed too small for cougar.

Looks like a yote to me with the way he is holding his head

That head up made me think yote right off the bat, but I'm the pic the head seems rounded? Maybe angle.  I do see te prancing in that pic that fox and yotes do

definitly not a cat...I'd say fox or yote for sure the way the tail comes off the rear end and the body shape is more dog like.

I can't tell even after downloading the photo, looking at it one way it looks like dog but my first impression of the head is cat.  I can't tell what the size is as mentioned because i have no idea how tall the grass is or anything else to use to size it up. I've seen yearling cats that were only 40 or 50lbs as well as 20lb cubs and 200+lb toms. I'm no expert but I have seen about two dozen cats in the wild and the head shape fits, unless it's looking directly at the camera.  What I'm seeing is it's looking past the camera to the right.  I also can't tell about the tail being too fuzzy because the whole pic is fuzzy but then again it could be my eyes.

Thanks guys!    :notworthy:    I everytime I look at it I see a Mt. Lion. I got a pic of a coyote the same day, but the coyote was about 20 yards closer. Here is the coyote pic-

Here is the questionable pic with zoomed in, lightened up, and I traced it with red-

Let me know what you guys think     :campfire:

It looks like a mountain lion to me. The head's shape is a perfect match. It is hard to determine it's size though as there is not anything that gives it scale in the picture.

The cleaned up pic without the red line looks like a yote or a fox. With the red outline it seems to lose some of the bushiness in the tail though certainly resembles a cougar.

I say most likely a canid with possibility of a feline.

does apear to be a cat and twice the size of the coyote wich is closer.

I'm going with coyote. You see any roadrunners around the area?
