Bow built for split or 3 under?

I am having trouble reasoning this one out. How do you determine if a bow is set up for split or 3 under? Here is my thinking. If a bow is set up for three under you would have a brace height that is low on the bottom limb to compensate for the added stress of the additional fingers below midline. Is my thinking right on this one?

Doesnt matter its more how you hold your hand and where the center of the bow is. Theres a big differece between brace ht. and where that string is when the arrow comes off .I prefer mine 1`/8 stiff to even on the bottom limb and I have shot 3 under since the 60s. Same as split finger shooters.

I don't think that will matter too much either way. I don't believe string walkers have special made bows.

Measure the tiller of the limbs.  This is the distance from the riser / limb contact to the string.

Split finger is usually postive tiller on the top limb.  Distance between riser/limb to string on top limb is greater than bottom limb.

Typical 3 under tiller is even tiller or same distance top and bottom.

Someone will probably chime in that might explain it a little clearer.

Do a search on tiller and you will probably find plenty of info.
