Bowhunting in Spain
« on: September 13, 2012, 02:06:00 PM »
I will be in Spain in mid-June of 2013.
I am looking to see if there are any hunting opportunities in Spain at that time of year?
Or, just getting together to do some shooting with fellow Trad Gang member.
Thanks.

Do not know about hunting, but I have been to Malaga several times when I was in the Navy stationed on a ship home ported in Italy. Nice place.

Yeah, I figured June would be a long shot especially in southern Spain.
Do we have any Spanish Trad Gang members?

Thanks Jorge, but I will be in the south. Wish I was going to be closer to Bilbao.

Yes. The northern areas would be better during that time. However, I left many years ago and would love to go and visit again.

Hi tarponnut,

You may be able to hunt European wild Boar here,

 http://www.bowhuntspain.com/

Probably  1-2 hours from Malaga, in fact I am looking for flights to Malaga now as flights to Sevilla from my nearest airport have stopped.

Call Manuel,  Very helpful, great outfit and the area is classicaly Spanish.

pm me if you would like further details.

Andy.
Hunting was hazardous, but at least it guaranteed the freedom of the individual.

There is no doubt that the onset of farming saw the end of leasure for the majority of people, who were destined to toil in the fields.

Wild pigs hunting in comercial operations can be open all year around and is expensive for trophy hogs.

Mr Sturgis was hunting Ibex, but i think the season is closed on june. Anyway, is not cheap.
