Son's Bday presents
« on: September 15, 2012, 09:35:00 PM »
I got my son a Herway recurve, (osage and walnut)for his bday a couple years ago. He has really taken to well. So this year I built him a nice set of arrows and a quiver. Arrows are popular with a 10 inch nock taper. Feathers I stripped and dyed orange and stained shafts walnut to go with his bow. Papaw bought him 6 new Eskimos and 3 Hammers, and I fixed him 3 field points for targets. We went stumping this evening and he had a ball. Kept going on how he loved those arrows.

Thanks again Gentlemen. I meant to do a build along with the quiver. I built one before this one and folks requested one. But I was working furiosly to get it done in time for has bday and put off the build along. I have one more tube ready to go and when I get time I'll do one with it. It's the least I could for the forum, I've learned so much from this place.
