x2 what Big Jim said. I like my arrows to be 10 - 11 gpp. All of my arrows from CE90s to CE250's are set up to be within that range for the bow I shoot them from.

I think they are all a bit light.  That said, hunting season is upon us, and if these are the only choices to get you out in the woods immediately, I'd go with arrow #1.  It should be enough for whitetails....

None of them. All are too light for my tastes. But I could put a 100 gr brass insert in the 75/95 and the 250's with a 300 gr point and they would fly great out of my bows. But all I use are AD trads. so it is moot.

I'd choose the heaviest.
It would most likely FEEL better.
Some of my choice, as the setups are virtually identical from a hunting stand point, would have to do with game being hunted and broadhead choice.

x2 but I prefer 10-11 gpp

I'd hunt with any of them, bit probably pick #3. As I recall, Eichler shoots around 490 grains in the 190 fps range. They seem to work well for him.

the top two have the same kenitic energy so i would take #2 because it is faster but still has some mass to it.

I see a some guys choose the 10gpp area. The top two would be 10gpp -ish out of a 51lb bow, therefore it would be ok. But why would those same arrows not be preferred out of a 60 lb bow? Is this for vibration/quietness reasons?  It can't be for killin reasons cause Deer / Elk don't get dead from only 10gpp arrows. 10gpp seems to have a good following and I'm thinking its for the smooth, quiet release reasons.  ?

Beside from trying to get the quietest arrow, I don't see the the need to go out of the way to get to 10gpp. I'm already blessed shooting Dan Toelke bows and these are the quietest Ive shot without heavy arrows. I think they are actually made by the woodland Elves and not Dan. Think I'm gonna go with the CX combo. There's a lot of chatter about high foc ( like the second option)and good flight but Mr Hatfield states the best flight comes from moderate foc and I think he's done some hard research on the subject. All good advice here, sites like this make the sport more accessible and I thank you!

Hunt WHAT with?

Bow weight?

Draw length?

I like the specs of the 2nd setup but I hate gold tips and doubt they would ever spine correctly from arrow to arrow so I'm going with heritage just for the consistancy

Already voted on #2, but Terry asked the questions above... the bow is 60# +/- and I'd say draw length has to be 29-30" given the grains per pound shown for each set up and the overall speed. Based on that alone, I'd say, it doesnt matter what you hunt.  That is more than adequate for any light skinned game up to at least elk, maybe even moose if you pick your shots.  Dangerous African game, no... bear or cat over here, yes.

That's right Dave,  60@30. My bow isn't in the calc , Toelke Super D. I used an Allen Boyce English and great northern classic for a number model. I have been shooting the GT combos over the past couple of days and the #2 flies real well.  They both fly well  and straight but the heavier 7595 provides a smoother shot. Should have the CX combo next well to try out. My money is on that combo. Arrows are 31". The cx will be 31.5.

The first one because it is the heaviest but it is on the very cusp of the very minimum of what is suggested for the lightest arrow.

So really, none of them.
Silence over speed.  Heavier arrows never hurt.

Well, I have the CX shafts and they are flying horrible. Nock high and tip to the right through paper at 5 yards. I cut two down to 31, same as my Gold Tips and no big changes . These 250 are supposed to be a heavier spine than my GT Trad 5575 but they are flying weaker. I have lowered the point weight down to 100 grains and no changes. At that low of a tip weight, there is no longer a weight advantage over option #2. Option 2 and 3 are punching bullet holes through paper and the CX are way off.

I lowered my nock height to 3/8 and still flying tail high. Don't want to go lower than that. Any pointers? I just put them up in the classifieds.
