??? Resealing arrows???

I see lots of posts about new arrows ( wood's ) ppl make each year. My question is on your arrow from last year or years past, do you reseal them? or just make news ones and say what the Heck.

I just got done touching up the stain and resealing some wood arrows from past years. They look great. I haven't noticed any adverse effects from doing this. Should work for you also. Good luck.

Heck, why not refurbish older arrows? Use 'em 'til they're totally un-repairable and/or un-useable. If they become too short for my use, I donate 'em to someone who **can** use 'em. They make great range markers, too...

I'll be resealing them today, after I do some shooting. I can't see not using them if they are still good. I guess I wanted to see how many others still use their older arrows. Tanks 4 the input

Use paraffin. Simple to apply or reapply and pulls from targets easily.

where do you get paraffin wax?

Craft stores, canning section at food stores, etc.

Comes in a block.

Warm the arrow with a heat gun (doesn't have to be HOT). Melt the paraffin on the arrow. Rub it down with a rag and wipe off excess. You're done.
I use the same finish on some selfbows.

My target arrows get at least one to two coats of poly a year (assuming they last), my hunting arrows normally get one coat (assuming I haven't lost 'em).  
I have one ash arrow that's five years old.  It's been footed when I broke the tip off (used another broken arrow to do it with a single splice) and I haven't been able to break or lose the dang thing and it's the one I normally reach for when I'm hunting tree rats.
