I learned to eat light. And try not to eat grease. I don't like to end up with the walking sharts
I love Bow Hunting

Hopewell Tom

Same every morning, work, play or hunt.
1 coffee, frozen fruit/tofu/protein powder smoothie and bowl of homemade granola with sliced pineapple and almond milk. I pack a good lunch for the trail as I like to stay out all day.
Oh, and a comfy pillow for my nap...

I make an egg white omelet with onion, mushrooms, green or red pepper, kale or spinach. Two pieces of  Ezekiel toast with homemade grape or blueberry jelly and a coffee....whether I am hunting or not.
The best things in life....aren't things!

Usually very little in the morning before a hunt, maybe a bowl of oatmeal or cereal, and then a hige breakfast afterward...pancakes, sausage, fruit, all sorts of delisciousness.  The thought of it keeps me warm on the cold sits in the stand in the morning.

MOFISH

Mudd, it wasn't because I didn't think of it but I didn't mention it because I didn't wnat to go down that trail again. Now you did it!  :deadhorse:

I'm hooked on coffee but DO NOT drink coffee unless you bring the 1-gallon ziplock for up in the stand if you know what I mean,,,, yeah gross but beats climbing down and then ruining your spot..

okay food--> #1 is energy bars,, whatever type or brand but the ones the mtn bikers use works for me, even the cerial bars at the dollar store except remove them from the package and wrap in toilet paper because the wrappers are noisy and toilet paper has other uses like marking bloodtrails or you know.

my buddy would bring those small cans of diet drinks with the vitamins that fill you up for awhile, I don't like lugging empty cans around though.

Two cups of coffee and eat when I get back.

STICKBENDER98

Just one cup of COFFEE! before, and a couple of granola bars while I'm out...and like the hash stay away from the sausage gravy and biscuts...no matter how good it is!  :bigsmyl:
Too many bows to list, and so many more I want to try!  Keep the wind in your face, and your broadheads sharp.

Roadkill

The bagel is tough and can be loaded with anything you want, and does not crumble in a pack.  I have PB and J and sometimes ham and eggs.

Eggs from my free range chickens. Nothing stays with you like eggs unless of course you have some venison to go with them. Besides, they say FR chicken eggs have 20 times the omega3 as store bought eggs. The incredable, eatable, egg.

An apple or banananananana (how the hell do stop spelling it!!!) & a cup of coffee, then as much Grizzly Wintergreen as I can carry! I throw a Special K cereal bar in my pack for around 9:30
I keep myself filled up & comfortable by drinking a lot of powdered fruit drinks.

Weight Watchers has taught me to do without a heavy breakfast (& losing 52# since May doesn't lie!)
