One that got away
« on: September 21, 2012, 02:11:00 PM »

This guy came to a cow call via water hole. It was my 1st evening to hunt so I didnt really prepare to shoot. I didnt realize that for this area this was a pretty nice bull. The saying " never pass up the 1st day what you'd shoot on the last" rings very true.

Truthfully I probably couldnt have drawn on him. He was super jumpy. He walked by me at 10 yards on his way to water. There he was broadside at 15 yards. The slightest noise made hime look right at me.
