First it's to close to season to try right now but this winter ...
A little bit of facts first. I have a long draw of 30-30-1/4" and I shot a PSA 56@30. I've been trying to get an arrow thats over 25% foc and 600-650 grain.
This is my idea, Gold tip series 22 (7.3 gpi and .300 id) foot around 8-12" with a standard .246 id carbon arrow (there is a wide selection with an of shafts with an id of .295-.298 and weigh 8.2-9.8 gpi) and then use around 250 to 300 gr. heads. Every thing I run on the calculators comes out at 25% or more on the foc and 630+ grains.
Do you fellas think I would work.
