Sept 29 I AM READY!!!!!!!

early season opens Sept 27th in the Northern zone and i am pumped!i will be hunting the 29th.  i am shooting better then i EVER had. stands have been in place for awhile and the local deer sign looks very good. acorns on the ground, beech are just starting to fall and my heart rate has increased a beat!!! on a side note lots of bears on the mountain this year although i do not wish to shoot one. Saturday will find me high on the mountain in a favorite stand awaiting a set of horns trotting up the trail....

Hows the weather been up there Ken?...cooling off yet?

We actually have the earliest opener  ever this year in the southern zone..I get to hunt starting 10/1..looking forward to it..

Good luck Ken.  This will be the first NY opener I have missed in 20 years... However, I did get to start 2 weeks ago down here, although I would much rather have the cooler NY weather.

weather is great, nice chill in the early morning, leaves are changing and acorns are on the ground.
