What would you use??

I,m shooting a 135grn. broadhead.what would you use for a field point a 125grn. or a 145grn.?they don,t make a 135grn.field point.

Either would probably be fine but I would shoot the 125. After you sharpen that broadhead a few times it won't weigh 135.

Maybe you could get some little steel washers and add 1 or two to add some weight.  Otherwise try both field points and see how they shoot? Good Luck.

You could easily grind a 145 grain field tip down to 135.

Really doesn't make any difference.  You won't notice 10 grains difference either way.

There are brass washers that weigh 5 grains each. I beleive 3 Rivers has them.

Tune for the broadhead arrow flight and either fieldpoint wont matter...................

Been using 150 gr. broadheads and shooting practice with 135 gr. Judo's as long as I can remember and don't think I ever believed it was a problem.

I'd shoot the 125 gr. blunt or target.  Never put a broadhead  under  a deer.

I shoot 125 field points with 50 gns of welding rod inside the wood shafts, I bought some simmons sharks broadheads in 135 gns. Stuck one on the above shaft 185 gns total, boy did it drill the deer this past monday.

I would use the 125gr field point with two of the 5gr brass washers that 3Rivers sells.

I shoot 150gr broadheads and use the 145gr field points with one of the washers to match the weight. I know 5 or 10 grains does not really make a hill of beans difference but I like to have my field points weight matched to my broadheads.

My Magnus+adapter weigh 117gr. I use 125 gr. field points, don't notice any difference really.
