Great job all around! I love the bow and the hunt story was awesome! Nothing like making meat with your own hand made bow on a hunt with a good buddy. Way to go!

Congrats! That is an awesome story and an awesome bull! Something about your success stood out to me--a lesson learned the hard way from my one and only elk hunt: they are not whitetails and they likely won't give you 20 minutes of broadside shot opportunities. If you have a shot, be confident and take it immediately because it could very well be the only one you'll get. So I congratulate you not only on a nice bull and a great story, but on your quick thinking, confidence, and perfect execution. Well done, sir!

Well done Don! and great bow, love it. ITs way prettier then the one I made for my bull this year. Very well done
That front of the shoulder quartering toward shot is amazing, aint it?!? I've seen a bunch of bulls go down within sight with that shot or the head on. I know folks say its bad news, but at close yardage from my experience this is not the case. Much the opposite, as youve proven out well! Great job, and thanks for the story and bull, congratulations.
