Alberta Moose hunt
« on: September 25, 2012, 07:23:00 PM »
Just got back from an 8 day moose hunt in Alberta. Our group of 4 had no shots, weather was hot and moose not working good. I had one at 19 yards but not able to shoot before he winded me. We had a great time and I took a spruce hen with one of my sinew backed osage bow. It was a great camp with great people.

Great pics. The weather really turns off 1000 pounds of black ! Probelly lots of night movement. I have to wait until next year to get back in the bush.

Same thing happenned to me in 2002 hunting at Fred Eichlers place in Alberta. Great place and great time but when the weather is 70 degrees ewveryday the moose were not moving. Beautiful country and amazing amount of game though.
