Arrow question
« on: September 28, 2012, 10:22:00 AM »
I have some arrows that are all crested up....I plan on using them this year, but I sure don't like them all painted up like they are. How do you suggest I go about taking that cresting off and the other colors that go along with it. Just not a fan of all the cresting....I'm a neutral/drab/nature color kind of guy

5 min soak in acetone will get most any paint you have on there..clean off with rag and than some 04 steel wool..you'll have to re seal them when you have them the way you want.

Paint remover like Bix or Zip Strip also works.  It's a messy job regardless.  Good luck.
