Very nice work Matt, I'd like to see some full draw pics as well.  The contrasting colors of the Osage/Walnut is nice.  I like the symetry in the walnut.

Matt,
I am interested in getting started building bows as a hobby (like I need another hobby
:knothead: ).  Any chance I could come your direction and get a tutorial or two some day?

mjc,
Beautiful work.
What's the icing on the cake is there lefty.  Any for sale like the osage and wlanut? Greta limb lQQk. Probably a great shooter. It looks like the Alaskan takedown longbow I saw a few years ago and been tryin to find.
Would be a great donation for the Leonard Bunny Hunt in Selkin.

mjc,
Do the reflex/deflex configurations you use come from your own experimenting? I want to build a longbow with pronounced r/d, and your top photo is exaclty what I have in mind. How does that bow shoot for you? would you care to share some photos of that particular bow form? Thanks, and keep up the beautiful work.

Mark, Yeah the top bow is the result of alot of different forms in the scrap pile, we just kept changing the amount of reflex and deflex until we came up with this form, It is so smooth on the draw, and very very quick. I draw 30" and it only gains 1 1/2 pounds per inch past 28" It also has no hand shock at all.I am very pleased with this design. I usually build at my brothers house he has a bigger shop, the next time I am over there I will try to get a pic of the form. I will also try to get some chronograph numbers to post. thanks
