my wife is an avid gun hunter but with this being my first year back to bowhunting since 04 when I started having surgeries she went with me just in case I needed help.  She has helped me recover animals over the past few years that I would have had trouble with because of my back.  Now that archery elk season is over I've been taking her rifle hunting for deer.

My wife loves the outdoors and loves to shoot her bow but shes not a hunter yet. She'd like to shoot a deer at least once.

My husband often tells me how glad he is that I enjoy hunting, fishing and camping. He is in charge of most things monetary and domestic. I am in charge of hobbies. I work hard and long at my job, but generally, if it makes money it also makes my brain glaze over. He likes to sit stands with me, has dragged and butchered many deer, and takes pride in his skill with flint and steer. He makes things like campfire wood happen, and has even brought me sushi when I had a craving for wasabi.  We make a good team.

My wife is a competent bowshooter, understands and supports my traditional archery habit, but has no desire to kill things. I'm fine with that. The closest she comes to hunting is coming along with me and Daisy The Wonder Beagle to chase rabbits.

My wife doesn't hunt because she doesn't want to see the animals hurting.

She supports my hunting, encourages me to hunt with her family, and even takes me shopping for hunting equipment if I'll give her a few minutes in a bookstore.

She also will go shooting with me and wants her own bow but we can only afford one for her at the moment and she doesn't know if she wants a Mission Craze or traditional bow.  She wants for us to compete in 3D competitions together when she gets all rigged up.

My wife loves to hunt. Anymore if we need meat for the table I let her go. I haven't seen anyone as lucky as her. It seems like she brings something home every time she goes out. I just can't understand how she pulls it off. When we dated she challenged me to a shooting contest. Let's just say we don't even want to go there.  :scared:

I am so envious of you folks with a hunting spouse!!  My wife is a horse's ***, sorry, a horse person, so she understands my passion-just as I understand hers.  Difference is, my passion doesn't need to be fed daily!!

My wife is a hunter.  Has shot some big ones with longbow, compound, and muzzy.  In fact, the biggest deer in our house is hers!  Of course she has a good guide   :goldtooth:
Always keep the wind in your face, and an arrow nocked.
