First Fall Hunt

Headin' out for the first fall hunt this weekend.
We'll be breakin in a new deer camp in SE Kansas.  Weather 50's...finally.... so feels like season.  Will let you know how it goes!

Camp looks great, I'm headed to mine on Friday night, I can't wait!  Wish I could get there a few days early!

Rick, here are some inside pics.  It's a small place. Basically 10x20 with an additional 6' porch.  Small living, kitchen, bath and 2 lofts for sleeping. Just enough room for 2-3 guys to take their boots off and hang out. Hope to make many longbow memories starting this fall.
 

 

 

 

 

Has bath and shower....but...no water yet so we'll use the "Trad" facilities for a while.    :archer:

Great camp.  Looks like it will be a great place, even if you don't see a deer, though in Kansas I doubt that will happen.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.
