Want to thank someone
« on: October 03, 2012, 05:21:00 PM »
Sorry I remember your name, Brian, but not your handle but you gave me a 38# Ben Pearson Puma bow last spring for my grandkids. We met at a range near Carroll Island, MD and did some shooting.

Well, the grandkids haven't grown into it yet but I just shot it today with the purpose of rehabbing my elbow after surgery in July. Before that I was shooting a Browning Spartan 30# for a couple of weeks.

Your bow shoots great after I put a thinner string on it and with 1716 shafts really spits an arrow.

So thanks again to this Tradganger for the gift of the bow. It served a purpose already although not the one intended yet. That will come as young muscles strengthen.

Thanks John, it was just a wee bit tight last night after the workout with the 38#er.
