Dave, I got the chance to shoot a super shrew last week, I shoot a 69" longbow, I just looked at the shrew for awhile, thought maybe ron had one to many when he put the limbs on backwards, just kidding, they,re taper is opposite of my longbow on the limbs, anyway I was ready for the thing to stack on me at full draw and it never happened, very smooth and very solid in the hand, a very good shooting bow, I think you will be very happy with it no matter what wood you choose.

That's a Lil Favorite Scout Daniel and is now in the possession of Tippet. It was Ray Lyon's bow originally, so maybe he'll chime in and give the exact woods.

I have a SS Carbon I'll get pics up of later this week. Stitches come out tomorrow so she'll finally get shot.

Donavan,

The Lil' Favorites are standard with a black phenolic riser and accents that match the limb color.  I believe that bow had the brown stained curly birch veneers.
