Dec 26 -29 Hunt with "Littlefeather"
« on: August 12, 2007, 01:32:00 PM »
This is taking off of another thread that was posted last month on hunting javelina near San Antonio.

After talking to Curtis, he decided that we would hunt one of his ranches that is located in Odessa Texas. Danny Rowan is going to be joining us. We would like to have about 6 or 7 folks joining us. Please contact Curtis Keller for pricing and hunt information. Also Dec. 26th is his B-day so let's plan on celebrating that as well. I am going to have my darling cajun wife and mother in-law make a huge pot of seafood gumbo that I will be bringing along for us all to feast on. Here is Curtis' contact info. Donald, get that taken care of brother. Would love for you to be a part of this hunt as well. Curtis runs a top notch deal out there and is a great person and one heck of a hunter. I would be honored to share a hunt with you and your brother.

Thanks for taking this up, I started the other thread, but, unfortunately, I found out this weekend that I won't be able to make it at that time.  I'll have to plan another time.  Have a good hunt.

Merry Christmas and a Jo Jo Javelina. That sounds like a good time and some seafood gumbo to top. Might have to come help so CK can take his b-day off (and go hunting).

If I had vacation time left, I'd buy the plane tickets right now.

Brrrrr... working in Fargo, ND and it got cold. Played bows n arrows with Jason J here this evening and was talking about warm winter hunting in TX. Gotta do something about the deer in Iowa first and then head down there for a tan.

You don't know how much I wish I could. I'm just about out of vacation time until after New Years. Which reminds me, we'll have to put something together for this spring. I've got an itch to try that "break the shoulder" thing again.   ;)

Shaun, you sure I don't have it?  :bigsmyl:
You going to come down for the birthday hunt?

Jason, I was on the river the other night and thought about you as we glided through the alligators. Kevin Smith sat in your hog hunting spot two weeks ago and had some very close encounters with deer but the hogs didn't come in before the sun went down. You know I'm ready whenever you are so maybe we should simply pick a date now so it's solid by Spring. Sorry this Spring was so hectic that we couldn't get it done. We've got to jocky through some of Charlies hunting schedule as well. I look forward to doing it again. This Birthday hunt is quickly shaping up to be a "good friends" hunt and I wish you were going to be there. Be well! CK
