Shafts in Pittsburgh
« on: October 07, 2012, 06:43:00 AM »
Hi Folks, it's been a while since I've been around- busy making major life changes. I'm now living in a cabin at the end of a road in SW MO, surrounded by deer and turkeys. Lost count of the number I saw yesterday! Right now I'm getting ready to go to my stand, 200 yards from the house.

I have a friend in Pittsburgh who is going to a father/son camp weekend, and needs a source of cheap wood arrows (!) for shooting across the lake. Not enough time for me to get some to him, so I was hoping for some help from the Gang. Thanks

Thank you, Roy. I would have taken care of this myself, but my "spare" arrows are all back in MS. I only brought my hunting arrows with me.

Thanks, Ron! I'm about 50 miles north of Joplin, near Sheldon. Living in a hunter's paradise! Saw 8 bucks and a couple of does yesterday afternoon. Passed on two buttons, and a doe barely escaped when a bigger buck pushed her. The 8 point didn't get close enough. Saw a real bruiser in the morning. Turkeys all around. I'm a happy man!
