Make sure you shoot broadheads before you hunt; but it looks like yer doing fine!
I started out with traditional equipment - in the days before compounds; and your only going to get better and better. I am excited for you; as I remember my first hunts.
Keep us informed ! And keep those broadheads Sharp!!
I am 17 days and a wake up from bow season

yeah I figured I was using some pretty heavy shafts. But they work really good. I have been shooting my broadheads with them and they fly pefectly.
I went by a spine chart on eastonarchery.com for a 29" arrow on a 45# recurve with a 150 grain tip

Nice shooting! I was just starting to feel good about my shooting and along comes ol' Fred Bear Jr. to give me a case of Shooting Envy!! Nice gear too! Good luck this season. Shoot straight and be safe!

Good shootin!!! A 30 lb. bow would've killed her real dead with those shots.

I love me an old Bear with green glass, like my 1965 Kodiak I'll carrying this year. :D
GREAT Shooting!
