Sorry everyone that's the end of the story of Krypton. I will have to tell the story of Big Lefty sometime. I hope everyone enjoyed the story.

Very nice story! It sounds like Krypton was a spirit animal. A perfect figure of a deer that lives on forever.

Some people don't appreciate the time and effort when it comes to story telling... thanks to having parents that were proficient in telling tales I really love a hearing stories like these... thanks for taking the time to tell us about a special buck.

You really gave me a vivid picture of Old Krypton in my mind. Ill be keeping an eye out for him in NY and Ohio this year, cause you know, them old bucks are known to travel some during the rut.   :campfire:

Seriously great story...any whitetail buck lives a fairly short, hazard filled life. A story like this give them more time to be apprecited!

Great story. Reminds me of the days of my father telling old hunting stories. He hunted for around 65 years until he lost his sight and could no longer hunt. I could listen to the same story numerous times and never tire of listening to them. Thank you for the memories!!!!
May your arrow always fly true and your hunt be an adventure.
