I never heard of 150gr,just 145gr. I don't know if five grains would make a difference. I do have the brass washers from 3Rivers to get up to an exact weight and they work well.

The new Fred Eichler Muzzy Phantoms and the Steelforce COC broadheads.

I don't think you will find 150 grain field tips. Just use 145 grains. 5 grains should not matter.

I don't think there is one. I shoot 150gr broadheads and have solved this problem using a 145gr field point and a 5gr brass washer that 3Rivers sells.

If five grains visibily effects arrow flight then the set-up would have to be positioned at the the extreme ends of the tuneable range.

An undesireable position to be, a BH will magnify up most any shot execution imperfections.

Tune at the center of the perfect flight range and you will experience much more lattitude.

Try adding a 5 gr brass washer behind a 145 gr point (if it's a screw-in)

Try Alaska Bowhunting Supply.  They have 150s.  I buy and use them all the time.

I still cannot figure out why the manufacturers make a 145 grain field point instead of 150 ???
I agree that the 5 grains would not make a difference. Still why 145 instead of 150 ??

Why do broadhead manufacturers make 150 grain broadheads when you can only get 145 field points?  Not arguing, just pointing out there are two sides to that way of thinking.

By the time that you practice with a 150 gr broadhead and resharpen it, you are probably at 145 anyway.

The old Bear Super Razorhead was 145 grains w/ bleeders installed...used to shoot them back in the 80's.
