I know better
« on: October 09, 2012, 10:04:00 PM »
Than to draw on the lead deer. Had two mature does come in within ten yards tonight. Drew on the front one and the second busted me. Got caught up in the moment. Heart was pounding....I love this stuff!  If I just would have let the first one pass. Maybe this will help someone if they end up in the same scenario. Good luck to all this year.

Yup hard to pass up a shot when you think its right. When there is more than one its not usually the one your looking at that gets you its the one your not! Had it happen before! Youll get em next time! Good Luck!

Had the same thing happen to me a couple years ago when hunting with a compound. You wont do it again. I learned a lesson today myself. Sounds like a great day in the woods.
