Good to hear! My dads up there already...lives up there.  I'll be up Nov 2nd,  can hardly sit still, can't wait to get into my stands.  He's been reporting big bucks and bear.  I'll be there for bear season to so I've got my fingers crossed.  Happpy hunting!

One of my coworkers shot a nice buck in northern Maryland over the weekend and he said it was running a doe already too.

The bucks are starting to run does in Ohio, so I'm sure PA is getting started as well. It's not full on or anything, but it is going.

Here in SE Pa the bucks are still running together where I hunt. Just some young bucks getting frisky.

Every year we seem to get a little surge in early October.  Nature's way of getting us and the bucks a bit excited about what to come.

My buddy had 3 mature bucks go by him Monday night a few minutes apart from each other, obviously still "kind of" together.  All by themselves with no does in sight.  I had 4 young bucks come by last night, definitely still hanging with the boys.

Agree with Tim...same here in SW PA every year.  Nothing to get too excited about.  The "real thing" is yet to come...

Not good news here around my place. The deer are getting hit with EHD. I have pictures from my trail camera of infected deer and many guys around here are finding  dead deer.

Not good news Roy. I hope it keeps it distance from here,  Deer are scarce the way it is.

Haven't seen them chasing yet in my area but I did find a steaming fresh scrape earlier in the week
