California deer
« on: October 10, 2012, 12:13:00 PM »
I have a California A32 tag and was wondering if any TG members have any advice on general access on public land (or private that I could pay to access). I'm located in Thousand Oaks, and plan to hunt North of Ojai/Filmore. PM me or email me. Thanks.

deer numbers are down 50% in california from the early  90s.disease cougars etc, there are pockets of deer in a few places, like on cattle ranches where they can control the environment,i hiked and hunted for miles, this year seeing few deer i talked to a dfg guy and he agreed with me and said it will get worse before it gets better, anyway good luck ,
