It was a little breezy at first and the wind wasn't cooperating like I had hoped but things calmed down. After a while it switched to blowing downhill, right in my face, and just in time.
Couple of yearlings came through first but I could see that they weren't alone.....she was the first big doe in the line and when she got close enough it was "all systems go" and the Stewart zipped an old school Easton 2018 in Trebark camo pattern through her so quick I couldn't even see it.
She ran off but didn't make it far at all and fell within 30-40 yards or so. My kind of blood trailing!
Turned out to be bigger than I thought and was sure glad it was a downhill drag and not uphill!
Wishing good luck to everyone heading afield!!
